Astana cyclist Iglinsky won eighth stage of Tour of Hainan

Astana Kazakhstan team cyclist Valentin Iglinskiy has won the eighth stage of Tour of Hainan, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to Alexandre Vinokourov, leader of the cycling team and Astana fan website. Alexandre also added that Iglinskiy became the leader in the overall ranking after this victory. Moreover, Valentin is the strongest in Hainan sprinters' ranking for the moment. The final stage of the race will take place in Hainan today, on October 28. However, it is not the strongest squad of Astana team that is competing in Tour of Hainan now. The majority of the team's leaders have already finished the season. Among them are Sweden Fredrik Kessiakoff and Kazakh Alexandre Vinokourov, who came 27th in French Chrono des Nations race on October 16.
