Astana Arlans boxers began third WSB season with victory

Kazakhstan club The Astana Arlans began the third World Series of Boxing Season (WSB) with a victory , Vesti.kz reports. Kazakhstan boxers won over Ukraine Otamans in the first match. Boxers of the lightest weight division (54kg) opened the tournament. Kazakhstan boxer who debuted in the tournament Miras Zhakupov defeated 28-y.o. Ukraine’s Ivan Ilnitsky without any difficulties. Ukraine’s WSB debutant Vyacheslav Kislitsin managed to even the score. He won over Kazakhstan’s Yerzhan Mussafirov. Kazakhstan team's legionnaire of Ukrainian origin Sergey Derevyanchenko managed to put Astana Arlans forward in the third bout. He beat his fellow countryman Dmitro Mitrofanov. Two-time champion of Poland Denis Poyatsyko and Iran’s legionnaire Ehsan Rouzbahani, who is caped for Kazakhstan team at present, fought in the fourth bout. In spite of the excellent performance of the Iranian boxer, referees awarded the Ukrainian fighter with the victory. Croatian legionnaire Filip Hrgovic, who defeated Rostislav Arkhipenko in the fifth winning bout, won the tournament for Astana Arlans club.
