Astana Arlans and German Eagles boxing clubs have announced their squads for the last group stage match of the World Series of Boxing (WSB) regular season, the official WSB website reports. Kazakhstan’s Miras Zhakupov will fight against Romania’s Nicolae Razvan Andreiana, German Eagles’ legionnaire, in the Bantamweight (54kg) match. Yerzhan Mussafirov will defend the colors of Astana Arlans in the 61kg match against Germany’s Robert Aramovic Harutyunyan. Israel’s Konstantin Snigur, Astana Arlans legionnaire, will fight against Vasilii Belous in the Middleweight match. Iran’s Ehsan Rouzbahani, Astana Arlans boxer, will have to stand against Serge Michel in the Light Heavyweight match (85kg). Kazakhstan’s Ruslan Myrsatayev will fight against German Eric Brechlin in the Heavyweight (91+kg) match. Kazakhstan audience is familiar with some of the German boxers already. Astana Arlans defeated the German Eagles with the score of 4:1 in Hannover, Germany. Bagdat Alimbekov knocked down Nicolae Andreiana, Hrvoje Sep won over Serge Michel and Filip Hrgovic secured a victory over Eric Brechlin. The Kazakhstan club is the leader of the Group A and has already advanced into the play-off match. Germany’s club is ranked 5th and has the next-to-the-last place in the group. The match will be held on March 1 at 8:00 pm in Almaty.
