I dedicate this medal to my parents, because it is thanks to my parents that I was born. I am so grateful to them. I have a little sister Alfiya. Tomorrow is her birthday and I want to dedicate this medal to her as well. I also dedicate my victory to my trainer Vyatcheslav Nyu, my first trainer Dyusenbek Kurmanov, and Arys region where I was born and stepped into the gym for the first time. I started weightlifting right then and it has been my favorite sport ever since. It is my life!” Zhapparkul said emotionally after her victory.
