Kazakhstani tennis Yaroslava Shvedova won Women’s Doubles with Australian Casey Dellacqua at the 2015 Mutua Madrid Open, Tengrinews reports.
The tennis tournament took place at the Park Manzanares in Madrid, Spain on May 3–10. The total prize money amounted to €4,185,405. The winners of the Women’s Doubles got €247,560.
In the semi finals, Shvedova and Dellacqua won Bethanie Mattek-Sands Lucie Šafářová. In the final match, they faced Garbiñe Muguruza Carla Suárez Navarro from Spain. The Kazakhstani and the Australian defeated their opponents 6:3, 6:7 (4:7), 10:5 in 1 hour 39 minutes.
It is the fourth time Dellacqua won the tournament in the doubles, while Shvedova claimed the victory for the eleventh time in Madrid.
