Two more silver medals won by Kazakhstan at the Olympics

In the final of the competition, Kazakhstani Demeu Zhadraev faced Asian champion and world ranking leader, Japanese wrestler Nao Kusaka. The final score was 5-2, with the Japanese wrestler winning the match.

In turn, Nurbek Oralbay faced 2017 world champion and Tokyo Olympics silver medallist from Ukraine Aleksandr Khizhnyak in his final bout.

In the first round, the Ukrainian won 2-3. Nurbek won the second round, but in the third round, the match was stopped due to bleeding from Nurbek. Alexander Khizhnyak won the final with a final score of 3-2.

So far Kazakhstan has won 7 medals, among them: 3 bronze, 3 silver and 1 gold.
