Tennis: Kazakhstan's Shvedova advances to second round of Wimbledon

Kazakhstan tennis professional Yaroslava Shvedova has won her first round match at Wimbledon, Vesti.kz reports. Shvedova played Kiki Bertens from Netherlands and beat her 6:4, 6:3. Yaroslava Shvedova is ranked 55th in the WTA ranking, while Bertrens is 60th. Now the Kazakhstan tennis professional is up against the winner of Petra Kvetova - Coco Vandeweghe match. Earlier, another Kazakhstan player Galina Voskoboeva failed to pass the first round of Wimbledon when she lost to Canadian tennis professional Eugenie Bouchard.
