Tengrinews.kz – The Kazakhstan women's cross-country skiing team won silver medals at the Asian Games in Harbin, China.
The Kazakhstan women's cross-country skiing team claimed silver in the 4×5 km relay at the 9th Winter Asian Games in Harbin, China. In the battle for the medal, the national team outperformed Japan but fell short against China. The medalists are Kamila Elgazinova, Kseniya Shalygina, Angelina Shuryga, and Nadezhda Stepashkina.

Earlier, Kazakh athletes made their mark in other disciplines. Vladislav Kireyev won the sprint race in biathlon, while Vadim Kurales secured second place and earned silver.
Meanwhile, the Kazakhstan men's freestyle acrobatics team made history by winning the gold medal in the synchronized jumps discipline.
