Kazakhstan extended contract with Beranek for two more years

The Football Federation of Kazakhstan has extended the contract with Miroslav Beranek, the national team's head coach, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing the Football Federation's press-office.

“The Football Federation's Executive Committee supported Adilbek Jaksybekov's (Federation President) initiative to extend the contract with Miroslav Beranek, the national team's head coach. The Czech expert will continue working with the national team during the next two years within the framework of 2014 World Championship qualification round,” Football Federation press-office said.

Beranek was appointed to the position of the head coach on January 31, 2011. Earlier he was working as an assistant to Czech team head coach. The Czech football expert replaced German Bernd Storck as head coach of the Kazakh national team. Under the guidance of Miroslav Beranek the national team of Kazakhstan has played eight matches. The team lost four of them, tied three matches and won one match against Azerbaijan team.
