Undefeated Kazakhstani boxer Gennady Golovkin TKOed the Australian former champion Daniel Geale and finished the fight in the third round, Tengrinews reports citing Vesti.kz.
Golovkin being his usual unstoppable self pressed his opponent hard in the first round. In the second round, the Kazakhstani boxer scored a knockdown. Despite Geale’s attempt to get at Golovkin the third round, GGG’s right hand sent the Aussie boxer down. On the 2:47, the referee stopped the fight resulting in Geale’s defeat.
Golovkin successfully defended his WBA championship title for the 11th time.
Golovkin earned $750 thousand for his 30th fight.
The question circulating in the media is who will be ready to fight Golovkin next? The iron-fisted boxer with 90% KOs might simply have no worthy opponents in his weight division.
