Tengrinews.kz - President Tokayev welcomed Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubayev, according to a statement from Akorda.
In greeting the guest, the Head of State expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of Kazakh-Kyrgyz relations based on strategic partnership and alliance, founded on strong ties of friendship and good neighborliness.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the importance of fully implementing the previously reached high-level agreements, which have a strategic nature and are aimed at significantly strengthening the interstate relations between the two countries.
Jeenbek Kulubayev informed the President about the outcomes of the recent negotiations between the foreign ministers of both countries and the main directions for further joint work to deepen bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, priority attention was given to issues such as enhancing trade and economic interaction, developing transport and logistics infrastructure, stimulating mutual investments, and strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.

There was also an exchange of views on current regional and international agenda issues.
It is worth noting that in November 2024, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited Bishkek for the summit of the Turkic States Organization. The main theme of the summit was "Strengthening the Turkic World: Economic Integration, Sustainable Development, Digital Future and Security for All."
