Tengrinews.kz - The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting has commenced in St. Petersburg, with Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev among the participating leaders.

Akorda shared a video of the leaders of the Eurasian Economic Union posing for a group photo during the event.

Earlier, President Tokayev arrived in St. Petersburg for a working visit, where he attended an informal meeting of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) heads of state. The summit focused on priority areas and prospects for further mutually beneficial cooperation within the CIS.
