Tengrinews.kz - Azerbaijan is making preparations to appeal to an international court over the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines AZAL plane near Aktau, according to the Azerbaijani news agency APA.
As stated in the agency’s publication, Azerbaijan has clearly outlined its conditions and demands to Russia, which were voiced at the highest level.
"As already noted, Azerbaijan has fragments of the Pantsir-S missile that shot down the plane. An evidence base is being formed, facts and evidence are being collected, and preparations are underway to appeal to an international court," APA reports.
At the same time, the publication notes that "the doors for dialogue with Russia remain open."
"Moscow must openly admit its guilt and take responsibility. Otherwise, Baku is ready for the next steps," the publication notes.
Earlier, the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan published a report with preliminary results of the investigation into the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane that fell on December 25 near Aktau. The document can be found here.
