The winners of the Juste Debout Kazakhstan qualifiers have been announced, Tengrinews reports. The pre-selection of Juste Debout was held in Kazakhstan for the first time this year. The event took place in Almaty on January 18, 2014. And now Kazakhstan will be represented at the world dancing stage of Juste Debout in Paris, France on March 2, 2014. The Almaty competition was held in five different categories: Experimental, Locking, Popping, House and Hip-Hop. 22-y.o. Renat Izmailov (aka L'eto) from Moscow (Russia) won the Experimental nomination. LDS Lockers Zhan Voinov and Nestana from Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) became the best dancers in the Locking category. The House nomination was given to Astana's Nazym Kalkenova and Almaty's Assiya Ayeshenova from Kazakhstan. The first place in Popping was taken by Andrei Baturo of Kaliningrad (Russia) and Dauren Aizharikov of Astana (Kazakhstan). And the Hip-Hop prize was given to Baurzhan Bauka Seifulin from Astana (Kazakhstan) and L'eto from Moscow (Russia). Beside Kazakhstan, the qualifiers for the Juste Debout 2014 are being held in 13 countries: the United States, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Russia, Italy, Great Britain, France, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Sweden. About 20 thousand best dancers from all over the world are gathering in Paris annually. More than 600 best dancers from Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan participated in the Jaste Debout Kazakhstan. The jury board of the Juste Debout 2014 includes 4 worldwide famous dancers Marquest from the United States, Japanese Tatsuo, France's J-Soul and Djidawi. The president of the Juste Debout Bruce Sone attended the Kazakhstan's qualifiers in Almaty. Bruce Sone attends only the countries where pre-selection is held for the first time. The Juste Debout Kazakhstan festival was organized by Funky Town, the youth creativity support center, in cooperation with the Akimat (Municipal Authorities) of Almaty city. The Juste Debout (just upright) is an international meeting of hip hop dances which gathers more than 3 000 dancers, selected after an international two months tour. 6 big disciplines are represented to it: Locking, Popping, Hip Hop New Style, House, Experimental and Top Rock. The event arisen from Bruce Ykanji Sone initiative, founder of the Just Debout and renowned dancer, to reward at the end of training courses the best dancers in various disciplines.
