Teatro alla Scala and Covent Garden to come to Astana during EXPO-2017

Teatro alla Scala and royal Covent Garden will come to Astana during the international exhibition EXPO-2017, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Director General of Astana Opera theater Tolegen Mukhametzhanov."We want La Scala to perform in Astana for the whole month during the EXPO-2017, we are negotiating their coming now. Covent Garden will also come to our capital. This would make two of the world's leading opera and ballet theaters in Astana. Besides, we intend to negotiate woth Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatres to get them to perform on our stage while the EXPO is held," Mukhametzhanov said at the press-conference. Also he mentioned that program of the theater will be selected by 2016.
