Forbes notes that the resort’s key advantage lays in diversity of routes that include smooth and soft slopes for beginners, long routes for professional skiers, a half-pipe for snowboarders and a special track for mogul skiing. Other attractive qualities of Shymbulak include night skiing and children’s part with instructors for children. The Forbes’ list also includes Karakol in Kyrgyzstan, Tsakhkadzor in Armenia, Kopaonik (Serbia), Kirovsk (Russia), Silichi (Belarus), Kolashin (Montenegro), Dombai (Russia), Palandoken (Turkey) and Bukovel (Ukraine).
