Russian Forbes made a rating of 10 visa-free ski resorts where the skiing season last for the whole spring. The list includes Kazakhstan’s Shymbulak. Forbes notes that the resort’s key advantage lays in diversity of routes that include smooth and soft slopes for beginners, long routes for professional skiers, a half-pipe for snowboarders and a special track for mogul skiing. Other attractive qualities of Shymbulak include night skiing and children’s part with instructors for children. The Forbes’ list also includes Karakol in Kyrgyzstan, Tsakhkadzor in Armenia, Kopaonik (Serbia), Kirovsk (Russia), Silichi (Belarus), Kolashin (Montenegro), Dombai (Russia), Palandoken (Turkey) and Bukovel (Ukraine).
