Kazakhstan fashion designer Saltanat Baimukhamedova created a woman's fashion line in men's style for Kazakhstan Fashion Week, Tengrinews.kz reports. As per Salta the season's trends are white and beige combined with brown, green and orange. Salta's image of a woman reminds of the 90s – plated shoulders, underlined waist and minimalism. “A new collection is a kind of unisex and includes main elements of men's clothes. Jackets, relaxed fit slacks, shirts, sweaters make an impression that a woman occupied a man's wardrobe,” said the designer. She will present fall-winter 2011-2012 clothes as well as summer clothes during KFW. Her collection will include clothes made of silk, knit-wear and cotton. The designer promised to add artificial furs and hand-made knitted clothes. Saltana Baimukhamedova will open the last day of Kazakhstan Fashion Week, April 23. A leading Kazakhstan designer Aida Kaumenova will present a “profitable” summer-fall collection at KFW. Kaumenova explains that it is a good way to sell summer collection in the country. “We want to present current clothes and not the clothes of the future,” she said. Another young designer Kamila Kurbani will show comfortable, light and massive clothes in causal style suggestive of London chick. She came up with collection for a changing weather which is very suitable for Kazakhstan women. Kazakhstan fashion week will be held on April 21-23 in Almaty Towers at the crossing of Baizakov and Satpayev streets (behind Hyatt Regency Almaty hotel). By Linda Buran
