Victoria Mominbayeva, mother of six children and owner of arts gallery, has become Missis Kazakhstan 2011, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Express K. Winners of intermediate rounds of the contest that took place in Astana, Almaty, Aktobe, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Petropavlovsk, Semey, Taldykorgan and Kostanay participated in the final of the pageant. The winner was awarded a diamond necklace by Spanish jeweler Joyas. Aknur Jumabayeva from Almaty became the first Vice-Missis, Olga Sagindykova from Semey got the third award. The International contest was organized by Sezon magazine and National Women, Family and Demography Committee under the President of Kazakhstan. The pageant is timed to the 20-th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan. The main goal of the event is to promote charity, peace and foster the role of family and married women’s status in society.
