Miss Kazakhstan-2013 Aidai Isayeva will represent Kazakhstan at one of the most prestigious beauty pageants Muss Universe-2014 that will take place in Miami, United States on January 25, 2015, Tengrinews reports.
Kazakhstan was long undecided about which girl to send to the Miss Universe-2014, because the dates of the international contests had not been announced. Now, with the event's dates available, Aidai Isayeva has been registered with the international contest to represent Kazakhstan.
Initially, Aidai was supposed to represent Kazakhstan at Miss World-2014, but since only the girls aged 18-24 are eligible for the contest and Aidai is 25, she could not take part in the Miss World-2014.
Aidai Isayeva was born in Shymkent in Kazakhstan's south. She is a graduate of Almaty-based Kazakh National Medical University named after Sanzhar Asfendiyarov. Currently, Aidai works in a hospital as a family doctor.
The Kazakh beauty said that she was intensively preparing for the contest. Aidai has been going to a gym regularly and learning foreign languages.
She has not decided about the outfits yet, but she said that she would like to wear an evening gown made by Kazakh designer Nail Baikuchukov.
Beauties from 126 countries will arrive in Miami two weeks before the contest. There will be rehearsals, charity projects and a contest for the best national costume in the run-up to the pageant.
The winner will be chosen at the final show on January 25. The final will be broadcasted in more than 200 countries. Miss Universe-2013 Gabriela Isler from Venezuela will hand the crown to her successor.
