The results of the Miss Astana 2013 beauty contest have been cancelled. The Miss Astana 2013 title holder Dinara Zhakashbayeva and the first runner-up Ruslana Tereshnya's participation in the Miss Kazakhstan 2013 nationwide beauty pageant was cancelled, Tengrinews reports. "I didn't know until the last moment. I was told only the day before, when I was ready to go to Almaty, bought the tickets and the dresses. They didn't explain why. Alena Rivlina, Director of SanBell model agency that is organizing the Miss Kazakhstan, explained that the Miss Astana 2013 contest was held improperly, with an almost empty hall, that is why the results was cancelled. We decided to select girls from PrimaVera model agency, because the agency will be organizing the next year's Miss Astana 2014 beauty contest. "The girl, who won the Miss Astana title, deserves it and it's not her fault that she is not going. I understand that it is very unpleasant to win the contest and not go to the final. It is all because of the organization of the event," Director of PrimaVera model agency Olga Radesh said. Besides these two winners, the Miss Studentship title holder Svetlana Rasshchupkina was also supposed to take part in the Miss Kazakhstan contest, but her participation was also canceled. 25 beauties from all over Kazakhstan will take part in the final of the Miss Kazakhstan.
