Kazakhstan makers of clothes are presenting their country at the trade fair Textilelegprom that kicked off on September 24 in Moscow. Aigul-line company famous with its handmade felt goods, AidaKaumeNOVA Fashion House, Iron Bear sports clothes, Caramel children's clothes and Symbat Fashion Academy with its school uniforms are presenting their clothes at Kazakhstan national stand called "Made in Kazakhstan". "The Association of Light Industry of Kazakhstan took part in the selection of the companies that are presenting Kazakhstan at the national stand. The selection was based on the export potential of the company’s goods. It is expected that the event will give companies an opportunity to expand their businesses abroad and find new buyers and partners," the message says. According to the statistics, cotton fiber and wool are the main export items of Kazakhstan’s textile industry at present. The national agency is planning to arrange participation of Kazakhstan designers at more international events in 2014. The Textilelegprom trade fair will last until September 27.
