Kazakhstan created its own Lapland

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the official opening of Rixos Lake Borovoye Hotel and also visited a unique fairy site Kazakhstan Lapland in Shuchinsk-Borovoye resort on December 21. There is an ice town at the site. Sleds pulled by teams of dogs and team of deers is another attraction for the visitors, official website of the President of Kazakhstan Akorda reports. “This five-star hotel is one of the best in Kazakhstan. It has all possible leisure facilities, comfortable rooms and Kazakhstan Lapland site for children. Wide range of services is provided. This is a wonderful hotel and we are opening it just before the New Year. I am sure that this center has a big potential, especially since it has a highway connection and an airport will be reconstructed nearby. More tourist sites will be constructed around this hotel. I congratulate everyone, who took part in the construction of this hotel,” Nazarbayev said. Rixos Lake Borovoye is the first five-star hotel at Borovoye resort. 200 rooms are available in the five-storey building with a total area of more than 26 square meters. According to the official Rixos hotels website the cost of rooms in Rixos Lake Borovoye hotel starts from $520 per one night.
