Hi-tech exhibition in Almaty takes viewers on 'time-traveling' experience of greatest inventions

A new multimedia exhibition 101 Inventions that Changed the World has opened in Almaty, Tengrinews reports.

Australian company Grande Exhibitions has created a staggering exhibition of inventions that carried the greatest contribution to the development of mankind. With the help of SENSORY4 technology, the viewers are taken through eight epochs of the civilization.

101 Inventions that Changed the World is a chronicle that allows to interactively time travel from the first invention of stone tools to the birth of the Internet.

For centuries, people have experimented and created the future through discovery. And the history of mankind has been paved with incredible and fundamental discoveries and inventions that reflect the full measure of ability, imagination and creativity of the human. 

The exhibition shows the prerequisites that led to the inventions and the impact these inventions had on the course of history.

Some innovations were driven by necessity. Others were just an accident. But all of them have shaped the way we live today.

The exhibition is taking place in a new multimedia gallery SPACE multimedia located in the shopping center Dostyk Plaza at the crossing of Dostyk and Zholdasbekov streets. The exhibition opened on October 4 and will last for two months.

The project is implemented with the support of the Department of Culture of the Almaty City Administration. Tengri FM radio is the project's information partner.
