The first military parade will be held in Kazakhstan on May 7, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Kazakhstan Defense Ministry. This is going to be the first military parade where armaments will be demonstrated in their military use. “Kazakhstan Defense Minister Adulbek Dzhaksybekov has signed a decree to prepare and hold a military parade of Kazakhstan Armed Forces in commemoration of the Defender of the Fatherland Day,” the message states. According to the press-service, this will be the first military parade in the history of independent Kazakhstan. Guards Divisions will be the core of the parade. Besides being called to celebrated the Defender of the Fatherland Day (May 7), it is timed to the 21st anniversary of establishment of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan. “New armament and military vehicles of Kazakhstan Armed Forces will be demonstrated at specially equipped platforms. The parade will demonstrate not only the looks of the armament, but also their military use. The plan is to land C-295 aircraft on an unpaved runway. The military parade will also include a show of practical actions of the aviation and artillery,” the press-service writes. Besides, the parade will feature a video conference link to the weapons training of the Kazakhstan Navy at the Caspian Sea. Kazakhstan’s military companies will also demonstrate their military-purpose goods during the parade.
