A cosplay cycling parade took place in Almaty, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of the Almaty Akimat (Municipal Authorities).
Over one thousand residents and guests of Almaty took part in the costume cycling parade showing their original outfits. The cyclers dressed as characters from Pirates of the Caribbean, Alien, clowns, witches, Roman soldiers, and others.
The bike ride started from Al-Farabi avenue and Tattimbetov Street. The finish line awaited the participants at Astana Square (Old Square) on Tole Bi street. Akim (Mayor) Akhmetzhan Yessimov thanked the participants for their creative approach in making the costumes. The winners of the bike ride were handed gifts.
It is the second year of the cosplay bike parade in Almaty.
