29-y.o. Polina Chepurnova of Andres agency has been selected the best model of the Kazakhstan Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2014, Tengrinews reports. The girl catwalked in presentations of 11 collections of Kazakhstan and foreign designer brands: Ainur Turisbek (Kazakhstan), Nina Ruchkina (Russia), Sweet Dream (Germany), Vrettos Vrettakos (Greece), Aigul Kassymova (Kazakhstan), Akananita (Kazakhstan), DI•ENTRE•SI (Kazakhstan), Yerlan Zholdasbek (Kazakhstan), Leonid Zherebtsov (Kazakhstan), Ё9 (Yo9) (Kazakhstan), Kamenskakononova (Ukraine). She has participated in Kazakhstan Fashion Week since the very first season, back when the project was named Almaty Fashion Week (AFW). "Igor Gorbatenko was my first teacher. The model graduated from Abylai-khan Kazakhstan University of International Relations and World Languages, where she studied translation and teaching of the French language. She speaks French, English and Turkish. Polina used to write for Kenguru and Academy of Style magazines. At present she is the art director of Beautylook.kz, a website for hairdressers, make-up artists and stylists. The pret-a-porter Kazakhstan Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2014 took place on October 24-26. Collections of local designers and couturieres from Belarus, Germany, Greece, Georgia, Russia, Ukraine and Estonia were presented at the event in Almaty city. By Aizhan Tugelbayeva
