The opening ceremony of the ART-Site event will be held on June 8, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to the organizers of the event. Almaty residents and visitors will be offered an opportunity to participate in theater performances, listen to national orchestras, Jazz and Rock-bands, see circus actors’ stunts, art-installations, photo exhibitions, hear poetry slams, see yoga-shows and other interesting events. It is expected that all the performances will be held outdoors every second and fourth week-end till the end of the summer vacation period (June, July, August). The art-events will take place in Almaty 28 Panfilov Guard Memorial Park (Gogol Str., at the corner of Kunayev Str.), at the square located near Kazakh National University (Timiryazev Str., at the corner of Shashkin Str.), and at the Family Park (Abay Av., at the corner of Altynsarin Av.) The art-show will start at 8:00 p.m.
