Seven Wonders company has published the first results of seven marvelous world cities competition. Almaty became part of the transitional rating and is the only Kazakhstan city in the list, Tengrinews.kz reports.
Almaty, also known as the southern capital of Kazakhstan, is listed in Central and Southern Asia category. Russian St. Petersburg is ranked first, Moscow is second and the capital of Nepal Katmandu is ranked third in the rating. Almaty is ranked 15th and it is ahead of Ashgabat, Mumbai, Baku and Bishkek. The capital of Georgia Tbilisi is at the last 25th place of the regional rating.
New York is the leader of North American rating. Cuban Havana is number one in Central America and Caribbean rating. Polish Krakov is in the first place in the Eastern Europe. Argentinean Mendoza is top in South America. Naples is the most marvelous city of Western Europe. It is ahead of Paris, Barcelona and London.
