Kazakhstan’s designer Aida Kaumenova will present her fairy collection at the Belarus Fashion Week (BFW), Tengrinews.kz reports. A fairy-tale character – Alisa from the Wonderland - inspired Kaumenova to create her fall-winter collection. The designer divided her fashion line into three parts. The first part is oriental dresses that combine numerous prints and luxurious decorations, the second includes baroque dresses, decorated with handmade laces and flower-dotted materials. The third one consists of the clothes made of perforated leather. The designer approach the choice of background music for her show. The models catwalked accompanying by Alice in Wonderland music and episodes of Disney cartoons were shown at the screens. The designer says that it will be the first time she participates in an international fashion event, because she has been focusing on fashion for Kazakhstan women. “Since our countries are in the same economic zone, we’d like to approach Belarus and Russian fashion lovers. We hope that they will get interested in us,” Kaumenova said. The Belarus Fashion Week dedicated to the 2013/2014 Fall-Winter season will be held in Minsk on April 23-28. By Aizhan Tugelbayeva
