43 fountains will start-up in Almaty on May 28, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the municipal improvement department of Almaty administration. As per the department's chief expert Ainura Sarbayeva, 46 fountains are registered as the city property. Three of them are currently under reconstruction. “The event timed to the Fountains Day and Flower Parade will be held in the Park of the First President on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. To 11:00 p.m. The largest Almaty fountain is located in this park,” Sarbayeva said. The Park of the First President is located at the crossing of Al-Farabi and Navoi streets.
