3,000 glowing balloons released in Almaty

Over 3 thousand glowing balloons were released simultaneously at the Republic square in Almaty to celebrate the International Day for Protection of Children on June 1. The event was registered by a authorized person and added to the Record Book of Kazakhstan as the Most massive release of glowing balloons, Tengrinews.kz reports. The glowing balloons were available for 1,000 tenge ($6.7) during the event timed to the International Day for Protection of Children in Kazakhstan (June 1). All the funds raised from the event will be spent on helping children with serious illnesses. Over 500 people attended the event. Young Kazakhstan stars entertained the audience at the even: Mika, Andrey Tikhonov, Turar Rakhimberlin, Dariya Akparova, Emil Ibragimov, Ruslan Berdimatov, Rinat Maltsagov, Kental, Arstan Myrzagereyev and Arman Kamerdinov.
