Several Scientific and Research Institutes’ employees lost their jobs on January 1, 2012. Their 3-year research projects had been completed and new projects were not approved yet. Meanwhile the Chinese government offered the following working conditions to the Kazakhstan scientists if they move to China: high wages, bonuses, remuneration of traveling expenses and medical insurance. Five million yuan ($806 000) was promised for each scientist for his scientific research. However, none of the Kazakhstan scientists has moved to China. The newspaper supposed that some special requirements must have stopped the scientists from working in China. For example candidates should be under 65, and they would have to live in China for at least three years. Or maybe there are waiting for the local authorities to make their offers as a response move.
