Kazakhstan is studying French experience in talents management, Tengrinews.kz reports. Kazakhstan State Service Agency will plan the careers of talented state workers, in particular. "We are currently studying the experience of France in so-called talents management. There are countries where development of talented workers is governed through a special program, and not only in case of those who work for the state. We would like to use an element of this program for planning careers for promising young state workers. Some of them are more perspective then others and there will be special elements of career planning for them, so that we don't lose them," Agency's chairman Alikhan Baimenov said in a meeting with Kazakhstan senators over the draft law On amendments to certain legislative acts of Kazakhstan on state service. Speaking of the career growth of state workers, Baimenov noted that the draft law introduces the term “career planning”. According to him, the draft law will allow talented state workers to advance along the career ladder with less barriers than before. By Renat Tashkinbayev
