Murat Gilmanov, Sc.D., a scientist from Almaty, has invented an ointment that is based on antibiotics but has close to no side effects, excellent skin penetration and is effective against many diseases, Tengrinews reports citing Channel 7.

Tiny active molecules that cannot be seen without a microscope are making the miracle. Antibiotics are injected into these nano-capsuls and then simply mixed with a regular cream. Then it should be applied to the skin. The particles effectively penetrate the skin. According to the inventor, the new medicine is effective against sore throat, cough, otitis and sinusitis, tuberculosis, diabetes, glaucoma and even cancer.

"The tests were successful. the ointment treats the diseases 2-3 times faster that the usual medications, and the amount of drugs is lower that in other medications which brings down the toxicity and reduces the cost of treatment by 3-5 times. It is an achievement, isn't it?" the biologist shared.

The scientist said that the most important thing was not the ointment itself, but the system of drug delivery into the cells.

Still, the new development requires an official drug testing. But the professor doesn't have any funds to do it, therefore, only his family and friends have been using the ointment so far.

One of those who tried the cream was 70-year-old Nellie Slepokurova. "I had a cold. I massaged the ointment into the area around the nose and I recovered in just two days. It works as a miracle," the pensioner said.

Murat Gilmanov spent his last 30 years working on this invention. Even after losing his eyesight 10 years ago he did not stop the laboratory work.
