Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Serik Akhmetov expressed interest in seismic and space projects during his visit to Russia's Skolkovo technological park, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Prime-Minister's press-service. "Some of our project are already of interest for Kazakhstan. In particular, I am talking about the projects in shelf seismic and space sector. There is an intention and, most important, the base for cooperation. We have agreed to prepare a joint protocol that will set forth the main targets, objectives and lay out an action plan for the nearest time," the press-service cited president of Skolkovo fund Viktor Vekselberg. He believes that cooperation with Kazakhstan may be focused on such traditional sectors as energy, development of oil and gas fields with the use of advanced technologies. Kazakhstan Prime-Minister's press-service noted that Serik Akhmetov visited Skolkovo technological park to see some claster projects in space, information and energy-efficient technologies and visit the microanalysis laboratory of the Collective Use Center. The experts of the laboratory demonstrated new capacities of electronic microscopy in development of production technologies and quality control. A 3D presentation of Skolkovo innovations center was held for the Kazakhstan delegation in the administrative building of HyberCube.
