Tengrinews.kz – The press service of Akorda has shared a vibrant video showcasing the welcoming ceremony for President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev upon his arrival in Paris for a state visit.

The footage highlights scenic views of Paris, including landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre.

President Tokayev was greeted at the airport with an honor guard and a motorcycle escort.

Tomorrow, President Tokayev will hold talks with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace.

The two leaders last met in Astana in November 2023, where Tokayev described Macron’s visit as historic. During those discussions, they identified several priority areas for future cooperation, including energy, critical raw materials, renewable energy, transit, agriculture, and healthcare.

Macron also extended an invitation to Tokayev to visit Paris in 2024.
