Vice PM Asset Issekeshev will be in charge of tackling operational issues substituting for ex First Vice PM Umirzak Shukeev [who has been recently appointed to head the Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund], Tengrinews.kz reports from a Government sitting. “With Mr. Shukeev transferred to Samruk-Kazyna, we have some redistribution of duties. Currently Mr. Issekeshev will be in charge of resolving operational issues. Amidst the forthcoming New Year celebrations and the parliamentary elections, there will be an ad-hoc headquarters arranged. Mr. Issekeshev will be managing the HQ to tackle all and any operational issues”, PM Massimov announced. “As you know, Head of State has urged the high-ranking government officials to stay within Kazakhstan for the New Year celebrations. All the officials should be available in their offices. Mr. Issekeshev will be coordinating all the issues”, K. Massimov elaborated.
