Ust-Kamenogorsk got twin town in Israel
Kazakhstan's Ust-Kamenogorsk and Israeli Yokneam have become twin towns, yk.kz writes. The delegation from East-Kazakhstan oblast consisting of first deputy Akim (Governor) of East-Kazakhstan oblast Serik Abdenov and deputy Akim (Mayor) of Ust-Kamenogorsk Askar Nurgaziyev visited Israel to sign the memorandum. The initiative on signing the of the twin towns agreement belongs to Vice-Mayor of Yokneam Roman Peres and Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Israel Galym Orazbakov. Kazakhstan delegates traveled around the town, took part in the ceremony of opening of Ust-Kamenogorsk sign on twin towns square in Yokneam and visited the WWII Veterans Fame Museum.Ust-Kamenogorsk has two other twin towns: Korean Kannyn and Belarusian Bobruisk.
