U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs to visit Astana

U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman will visit Astana, Tengrinews.kz reports citing press-secretary of Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry Ilyas Omarov.“U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman will render a visit to Astana during her regional tour on November 28-29,” Ilyas Omarov said.According to him, the visit’s agenda includes bilateral meetings with Kazakhstan’s officials to discuss regional and global security, trade and economic relations and cooperation in energy and human rights.“During the visit Wendy Sherman will also meet with representatives of non-governmental organizations and give a lecture in Gumilyov Eurasian National University,” the press-secretary said.
