The ministry added that Kazakhstan consistently fulfills its international trade and economic obligations and adheres to a balanced and pragmatic approach in its foreign economic policy.

Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the introduction of 25 percent tariffs on all countries engaged in trade with Iran.

Through these 25 percent tariffs, Trump intends to exert pressure on the Iranian government, which he has accused of suppressing protests in the country. He previously stated that he was prepared to support protesters, including through possible intervention.
