Tokayev’s New York visit secures multibillion-dollar investments for Kazakhstan

Presidential press secretary’s aide Ruslan Zheldibay said the documents cover strategically important sectors, including transport, logistics, energy, and information technology.

The agreements were signed with companies such as Kazakhtelecom, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, Samruk-Kazyna, KazMunayGas, Amazon Kuiper, International Finance Corporation, Lummus Technology, ExxonMobil, Chevron, LanzaJet, Wabtec, and the U.S. Export-Import Bank.

Earlier, Tokayev also took part in a roundtable with representatives of American business.

"The United States, having invested more than $100 billion, is the largest investor in Kazakhstan’s economy. We are proud of our achievements in economic cooperation. Today, more than 630 U.S. companies successfully operate in Kazakhstan, including Chevron, ExxonMobil, Boeing, Visa, Mastercard, Meta, Wabtec, and Citibank," the President said.

Tokayev will also address the General Debate at the landmark 80th session of the UN General Assembly during his visit.
