Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev personally welcomed Turkmenistan’s leader Serdar Berdimuhamedov upon his arrival in Astana for a state visit.

Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev personally welcomed Turkmenistan’s leader Serdar Berdimuhamedov upon his arrival in Astana for a state visit.

The head of state greeted the Turkmen president at the capital’s international airport, where an honor guard unit was lined up for the official ceremony.

The visit will take place on 24–25 November at Tokayev’s invitation. High-level talks are scheduled, during which the two leaders are expected to discuss ways to advance the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.

Ahead of the visit, flags of both countries and themed decorations appeared along Mangilik El Avenue, the main thoroughfare of the capital, signaling preparations for the official reception.
