Tokayev welcomes Mongolian president at Akorda

Tengrinews.kz - A ceremonial meeting was held at the Akorda residence to welcome the President of Mongolia, who arrived in Kazakhstan on a state visit.

“The heads of state introduced members of their delegations to each other. The commander of the honor guard delivered a welcoming report, and the national anthems of the two countries were performed,” the statement said.

It should be noted that Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh arrived in Kazakhstan on the evening of April 20 for a state visit. He will stay in Astana from April 20 to 23 at the invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

During the visit, the two leaders will hold one-on-one talks, official negotiations, and brief the media. The sides are also expected to sign intergovernmental and interinstitutional documents.

In addition, the Mongolian president will take part in a Regional Environmental Summit as part of the state visit.
