Astana is prepared for the second meeting of the heads of Central Asian states and the German Chancellor.
The press service of the President of Kazakhstan shared photos and videos of the arrival of the leaders at the Palace of Independence.
President Tokayev greeted the distinguished guests, including Uzbekistan's Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kyrgyzstan's Sadyr Japarov, and Tajikistan's Emomali Rahmon, who flew to Astana to participate in the "Central Asia + Germany" summit.
The summit aims to discuss issues of strategic cooperation and partnership across various sectors, including trade, economic collaboration, and the implementation of joint investment projects.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrived in Astana for an official visit on September 16, where he held talks in a closed format with President Tokayev.
