Tokayev to visit Dushanbe at invitation of Rahmon

Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will visit Dushanbe at the invitation of Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon.

According to Akorda, the head of state will visit Dushanbe on October 9-10.

Tokayev will participate in the "Central Asia – Russia" summit and the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

On October 5, Tokayev congratulated Emomali Rahmon on his birthday. During a phone conversation, the two presidents highlighted the steady development of Kazakh-Tajik relations, which demonstrate positive dynamics in all areas of cooperation. They also discussed further steps to expand cooperation in trade, economy, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
