Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Alexey Borodavkin, the Russian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, citing a statement from Akorda.
During the meeting, the President noted that thanks to joint efforts, the multifaceted cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia continues to develop successfully across all areas, with political dialogue gaining unprecedented momentum.
Tokayev particularly emphasized the fruitful outcomes of his recent state visit to the Russian Federation and productive talks with President Vladimir Putin. The results of the visit have given a significant boost to the development of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries.
On November 11-12, President Tokayev visited the Russian Federation for a state visit.
During talks with Vladimir Putin, a wide range of issues related to political, trade, economic, investment, and humanitarian cooperation were discussed. Following the meeting, the two Presidents signed a Declaration to elevate Kazakhstan-Russia relations to a new level.
