Tengrinews.kz - Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Kazakhstan. He was welcomed at Astana International Airport by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
President Mirziyoyev will be in the country for a state visit on August 7-8. The visit will include high-level bilateral talks and the signing of several important documents.
Additionally, on Friday, August 9, Astana will host the VI Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State, featuring leaders from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
On August 5, President Tokayev met with Saida Mirziyoyeva, the President's Assistant of Uzbekistan. During the meeting, they discussed current issues related to advancing multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
