Tengrinews.kz - The Head of State has received the French ambassador Sylvain Guichard, according to a statement from Akorda.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated the French ambassador on his appointment and noted that his diplomatic mission coincides with a very active period in the development of bilateral relations.
The President emphasized that Kazakhstan places great importance on the comprehensive deepening of cooperation with France and wished ambassador Sylvain Guichard success in his important role.

During the meeting, they discussed the agenda for the upcoming state visit of the President of Kazakhstan to the French Republic.
"The Head of State expressed hope that this visit would outline new prospects for cooperation between Astana and Paris and provide a strong impetus for further strengthening the Kazakh-French strategic partnership," noted Akorda press service.
It should be noted that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron, will visit the French Republic on a state visit from November 4-5. During the visit, high-level talks will take place to advance cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
