Astana, Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Akorda Presidential Palace in a narrow format.
At the beginning of the meeting, President Tokayev expressed his gratitude to President Xi Jinping for accepting the invitation to visit Kazakhstan.
"I believe your visit is of exceptional importance. The People's Republic of China is a friendly neighboring state, a vital strategic partner, and one of our key allies. I am pleased to note that Kazakh-Chinese relations, based on unbreakable friendship and mutual support, are developing at an unprecedented pace. I highly appreciate your significant contribution to strengthening the eternal comprehensive strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China. I fully support your initiative to elevate cooperation between our two countries to a new level for the benefit of our peoples," emphasized the President of Kazakhstan.

President Tokayev praised the steady progress of Kazakh-Chinese cooperation across all areas.
"China is not just a good neighbor to us but a close friend and a reliable partner, proven over time. Based on the unwavering values of shared history, good neighborliness, and mutual support, we have built truly exemplary intergovernmental relations that gain new qualitative content each year," he noted.
