Welcoming Irakli Kobakhidze, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that this visit is of paramount importance for strengthening the Kazakh-Georgian partnership.

"I am confident that this visit will be a true success. I want to emphasize that Kazakhstan views Georgia as a strategically important and traditional partner. We maintain close ties in many areas, from the economy to the humanitarian sphere. I am convinced that such interaction must continue.

As Head of State, I will certainly exert every effort to ensure that our cooperation develops steadily and yields results. You are a strategic partner of Kazakhstan. We highly value the friendship and cooperation with your country. Our people have sincere respect for your country and your people. Today, many Kazakhstani tourists visit Georgia, and they return with exceptionally positive emotions.

Of course, there are certain untapped opportunities, and we must make an effort to properly utilize all existing potential to give additional impetus to our bilateral cooperation," the President of Kazakhstan said.

Irakli Kobakhidze stated that it was a great honor for him to be in Kazakhstan and to hold this meeting.

"We attach special importance to the relations between Georgia and Kazakhstan and are very pleased that this partnership has become strategic. This is the true essence of our cooperation. However, as you have already mentioned, there is vast untapped potential, and we must do everything possible to leverage it to the fullest. We maintain very strong political and economic ties between our countries, as well as interaction in education, culture, and many other areas.

And we are very enthusiastic about strengthening ties in all these directions. This visit is of particular significance as we are signing a Joint Statement on Strategic Partnership. I am confident that it will provide a new impetus to bilateral cooperation. This partnership is based on shared values, which is why our relations have such great potential. I would like to thank you for your personal support of the friendship and interaction between our two states," the Prime Minister emphasized.

As a reminder, the official welcoming ceremony for Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze was held earlier at the Palace of Independence in Astana.
